Case Study – Crowdcare database
This session looks at a case study perspective of a tool/platform, the Crowdcare database. This is an innovation that has been developed by Laura and her colleagues. We ask where the idea for Crowdcare first came from, the process of developing it, how it is being used, and what the resultant impacts have been so far.
I ask Laura about the challenges in both creating and managing the database and what disciplines are using it.
This is a really interesting example of a product developed to solve a teaching problem has gone on to be used in research and had an impact.
